Thursday

I was on Pinterest, clicking on pins about homesteading and reading about whatever the pin was about on its website, when suddenly I hear a soft, "Ding" sound. My iPad Mini.

I looked at it and this is what it showed:

Yeah, I may be a little excited about Rolex. :) But when I saw it, I sort of laughed and thought, "Like I needed a reminder..."

Anyway, that was random.
Today is Thursday, so I'm going to do a Throwback Thursday:

This was in 2012, and the owner of the horse barn I was going to asked me if I wanted to ride in the parade that was happening in town (even though I wasn't even apart of the Equestrian Team. I just went to the barn whenever I wanted and rode by myself) and I agreed. I was a little nervous because there were loud trucks and some rude people honked their loud car horns at us for fun. (Which was really frustrating, because the horses were already stressed. It was a group of teen boys I think. Go figure.)
I was really proud of "my" horse, Spangles, because he spooked at one of the cars, but he seriously put his trust in me and let me calm him down and take full control over him. He didn't spook again after that.
At one point, I got a little nervous though, because the horse owner told everyone to stop our horses for a minute, because one of the girls fell off when her horse spooked!
The whole ride was a really cool thing to experience (even though it was a little cold), and I had one little girl on the side see me and Spangles and she started saying (in a very excited tone): "Spangles! Spangles!" It was cute, and it made me really happy to be riding him. :D

Rolex and hunter jumping

So guys, the Rolex three day event is this weekend! Gah!

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/373306256589307410/

I probably won't watch day #1 because it's dressage. Don't get me wrong, dressage is really amazing, but it's really boring to watch. :)
I'm watching the show jumping and cross country!! :D
I'm not positive, but I think it will be streaming live HERE.
I'll probably glue myself to the TV all day. So, if you need me, you'll find me in the living room in my jammies, eating popcorn or something. ;) ;)

Since we are on the topic of horse jumping, I recently read ALINA'S  blog post about riding, and it made me start thinking about horses.
Then it made me want to pin pictures...then watch videos....then it made me want to go back to horses...I would love to start jumping again, and I want to learn how to really ride now.
Hunter jumping is so beautiful, and the times I jumped was some of the coolest times.  I mean, look at it! \/ \/

But I don't think I will have the opportunity to ride again for a while. ;(

The Just-a-list-of-random-questions Tag

I was tagged by Alina to answer the following questions:

~ Paste the button onto your blog post.
~ Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list you answered) and tag a few people of your random choice (and say why you tagged them, if you have time!) (Be original and nonsensical in your question-creativity - make the blogging world a cheerful place :-) And be disastrously random.)
Now for the fun...
~Write down three facts about you - one of them is WRONG. Let your commenters guess in the comments which one is wrong (and tell them in the comments after a while)
~Answer the questions of the person who tagged you - make it all super random and interesting :-D

here are my three facts about myself! guess which one isn't true..;)

  • I find butchering videos interesting.
  • I've been bitten by a horse.
  • I love SpongeBob

~What unnatural hair color would you dye your hair if you had to

If I could pull it off, and knew I would like it, I would like black hair with violet streaks!
Buuuuut, I had auburn hair once and I loooooovvveeed it. :)

~Ferret or chinchilla? (don't ask...)-

I don't know anything about either one really, but totally a ferret because when they walk/run around it's very entertaining. :D

~Happiest childhood memory-----

I have tons and I can't name them all, but I like when I was doing gymnastics(when I was 6-7 years old), my friend, Hannah, and I really liked getting in trouble with the owners (we may or may not have poured a gallon or two onto the upstairs gym bathroom, and the water may or may not have leaked into the office area downstairs). Well, getting in trouble wasn't what we liked, but the things that got us in trouble were the things we thoroughly enjoyed. ;)
I also have had many adventures with my siblings, and with all of our other friends.

~At the beach, would you rather sunbath, or swim in the water

If I wanted to be tan, I'd just buy a bottle of that weird tan-y stuff at the store, rather than getting a headache by lying in the beating sun. So, I would be in the water, probably wearing goggles chasing down fish. ;)

~Something you have with you always (i.e. a necklace, pocket knife, etc.)

I don't carry anything around really. I never carry a purse, I can never open a pocket knife (so I don't see the point in carrying one), and I don't like wearing jewelry.
So that's the best answer I can give. :)

~Do you consider yourself a fangirl, hipster, or equally both--

I don't know....I'm just ME. I can have fangirly moments sometimes, and other times itcan be the same subject and I don't even care. And I don't think I am a hipster. Like, at all.

~Favorite movie released within the last year--

Either The Giver or Mockingjay. I don't really have a favorite movie though.

~An actor you admire--

I don't admire any actor, really. Maybe that's because when I think of the word, "admire," I think of someone you think of as a role-model, or totally look up to them. I don't view any actor as a role-model.

Now, if you were asking me if I admire a skill of an actor/actress, I definitely do.
I admire Jennifer Lawrence's acting skills, I admire Amber Marshall for her riding skills, etc.

~Nighttime or daytime?

Daytime. Definitely. :)

Cinderella dance

Hi!
So, I've been learning the ball dance (the waltz)  from the 2015 Cinderella, and I think it's really fun and really easy.

I have learned/memorized the first part and half of the other part of the dance yesterday (it took me 4 hours...but that's including searching for things in the house, talking to my siblings, showing my parents, and teaching my brother the boy's part in the dance).

The song from it is really pretty, and it is great to dance to because it goes with every step, and it pauses when you're suppose to pause in the dance, so it's really helpful. :)

Anyway, once I learn the whole dance (including the boy's part, because I gotta teach my brother), I will make a video of it and post it. :)

PS-- Can we just acknowledge the beauty (and poofy-ness) of the dress?
